The Strategic Approach
Redesign EVDP's web experience through a "Friendly & SEO-Focused" approach. The primary UI/UX goal was to translate search intent keywords—developed alongside the SEO team—into a warm, accessible interface, moving past cold corporate styling to connect with the local audience and optimize patient acquisition.

The Challenge: Overcoming Corporate Friction
Prior to the redesign, East Valley Dental Professionals' web presence suffered from "corporate paralysis." While functional, the old website (see image below) was impersonal and text-heavy. It relied on a clinic-centric narrative and generic stock photography, failing to build an emotional connection with prospective patients who often experience dental anxiety. The visual hierarchy was weak, making it difficult for users to find fast answers to critical questions.
Furthermore, dental practices typically compete with rigid, impersonal sites that create resistance and distrust. The primary UX challenge was structuring a visual architecture that intuitively answered key user questions throughout the scroll, integrating SEO requirements—especially E-E-A-T factors (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness), Google's framework for measuring web credibility—within an empathetic narrative that leveraged credentials, real photography, and social proof to establish immediate trust.
My Role & Methodology
As the Lead UI/UX Designer, I spearheaded the conceptualization and visual interface design by applying my custom web framework. I collaborated directly with the SEO team to translate content clusters and target keywords into visual user flows, typographic hierarchy, social proof components, and strategic calls to action.

The Transformation
🚀 The New Architecture of Trust
The UI/UX design intervention was more than aesthetic; it was a complete, patient-centric strategic restructuring. To identify the optimal conversion path, two distinct visual and strategic approaches were developed (A/B Proposals): a Corporate & Authoritative version (focused on institutional restraint) and a Friendly & SEO-Focused version (focused on accessibility and human connection).
The Friendly & SEO-Focused proposal was selected after validating that it reduced patient anxiety and responded more seamlessly to local search intent, transforming the interface into a tool for trust validation and conversion.
• SEO-Aligned Information Architecture (UX Strategy & Wireframing)
Layout structuring designed to validate search intent starting right from the Hero Section. Visual modules were integrated to validate technical authority (ADA, AGD credentials) and local relevance for the MESA location, directly supporting SEO/E-E-A-T requirements.
• Art Direction & Human Experience (UI Design & Visual Systems)
Shifted from a distant corporate aesthetic to an accessible, welcoming visual system. Curated typographic selection, a balanced color palette, and strategic integration of authentic photography featuring the team and facilities to lower patient anxiety and project trust.
• Conversion Engine & Friction Reduction (Conversion UI & Trust System)
Design of social proof modules (photo-grid customer testimonials, mid-page reviews) and educational sections for prospective patients in the evaluation phase. Strategic placement of key decision points (Schedule Appointment) throughout critical navigation moments to maximize appointment booking flows.
