The Goal

Develop a comprehensive library of high-resolution photorealistic imagery for Basecore, a technical product whose launch was stalled due to a lack of suitable photography assets. The project required solving end-to-end visual production without incurring the high costs, logistics, or extended timelines of a traditional photoshoot.

The Challenge

The client needed to present their product with high-end corporate aesthetics, but only had low-quality photography unusable by modern commercial standards. As an ultra-specific, non-conventional industrial product, generative AI models lacked sufficient training dataset coverage, causing recurring geometric hallucinations (geocells rendered in orthogonal grids instead of the actual wavy structure, missing or misaligned technical perforations).

Compounding this were technical limitations inherent to the maturity of visual generation engines at the time, turning precision photo synthesis into a complex image-engineering bottleneck.

My Role & Scope

As Creative Lead, I designed and deployed a synthetic generation pipeline adapted to these constraints. To overcome model bias and lack of contextual data across tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, and Gemini Pro), I created 3D volumetric wireframes and illustrations to serve as depth and perspective guides. This approach locked in structural geometry prior to photographic rendering.

Subsequently, I engineered an iterative prompt architecture to control parameters such as industrial lighting, HDPE texture, gravel scattering physics, and water refraction—delivering a photorealistic asset library with absolute technical accuracy.

The Outcome

• Synthetic Production Pipeline: Generation of a complete high-resolution photo library without relying on studio setups, physical prototypes, or traditional logistics.

• 3D Modeling & Geometric Control: Overcame AI hallucinations by leveraging reference 3D wireframes, ensuring total structural fidelity to the product (wave pattern, technical perforations, and assembly).

• Prompt Engineering & Art Direction: Built a system of refined, iterative prompts to guarantee visual consistency across materials, angles, and overall brand aesthetics.

• Operational Efficiency: Complete elimination of physical production costs and significantly accelerated delivery of market-ready commercial and marketing assets.
